Tim Coffin
CEO
Tim has a technical and commercial background with MBA from Bayes Business School. He started his career in 1996 handling commercial operations for bulk carriers. He took a break for studies in 2000 and joined back as head of research in 2005 with Capital ship brokers in UK. He changed role in 2008 and joined Global maritime investments as an investment manager looking after the non-directional shipping hedge fund, FFA market. From 2014-2016, he was involved in the merger of the Navig8 tankers with General maritime and subsequently listing it on NYSE. In 2016, he joined Pausco Agencies creating equity syndicates, negotiating loan facilities and charterparties contracts acquiring 15 container ship. In 2023 he joined Tristar as CEO for managing the maritime and land transportation logistics and create new business opportunities for the company.
Capt. Rajiv Singhal
Managing Director
Rajiv began his sea career in 1983, sailing as Captain on OBOs and large crude tankers with Orient Ship Management (Hong Kong) and Acomarit Ship Management (UK) until 1998. In 1999, Rajiv came ashore for Eurasia Ship Management where, between 1999 and 2007, he held various positions in Ship Management, Marine Insurance, Post Chartering & Consultancy Services, with his last role having been the head of Eurasia’s business development activities in Europe and Asia.
When Eurasia merged with parent Bernhard Schulte in 2007, Rajiv was appointed Director Crewing Services. In 2011, Rajiv joined MTM Ship Management Pte Ltd in Singapore as General Manager for their ship management services and worked in that function until 2020 when he was appointed Managing Director of MTM Ship Management.
Shailesh Bildikar
Commercial Director
Shailesh is the Commercial Director of Tristar Maritime which was originally setup as Emirates Ship Investment company (ESHIPS) in 1996.While Eships has consistently created profitable investment opportunities for its shareholders, it has diversified to become a successful owner and operator of tankers, gas carriers and dry bulk vessels. Shailesh has been instrumental for its shareholders in the acquisition of Abu Dhabi based Emirates ship investment company in 2016. Tristar and Eships currently owns and operates a fleet portfolio of 25 vessels which includes tankers, chemical/gas carriers, coast –al barges & dry bulk vessels. Shailesh is a Master Mariner with a sailing background predominantly on tankers and gas carriers and has a diversified experience of working with shipowners/tanker pool operators and oil trading companies. He Holds a MSc degree in shipping, trade and finance from Cass Business School, City University UK and is a Member of Institute of Chartered Shipbrokers, London.
Sanjay Sachdev
Technical Director
Sanjay started his sea career in 1988 sailing as chief engineer on bulk careers and tankers until 2004. In 2004, He came ashore as manning superintendent with MOL and Mumbai and later on shifted to Singapore and worked with them from technical superintendent to fleet manager until 2018. Within the 15 years of working on technical side he gained valuable experience in new building, Drydocking, BWTS & Scrubber installation,
In 2018 he shifted to Dubai as technical director heading the technical team for Tristar maritime. During the tenure in last 5 years with Tristar company has successfully secured the long-term time charterer with 6 parcel chemical tankers with Shell and joins hand with MTM Ship management for expansion of technical management and business development for the company.
Dimitris Harbis
Director Of Global Business Development
Dimitris has a technical and business development background with studies in Mechanical Engineering at City University, Management Information Systems at the LSE and Naval Architecture at Southampton. In 2002 he started his career at the technical department of a medium sized private company operating bulk carriers and chemical product tankers. Withing the next 10 years he gained invaluable experience on all aspects of ship management including operations, finance, developing new commercial opportunities and in 2012 he was appointed Managing Director.
In 2019, following a successful $100M raise for a joint venture with MTM and a US-based private equity fund in the MR Product Tanker space, Dimitris joined MTM Group as Director of Global Business Development and head of the Greek office, where he established a series of partnerships across the spectrum.
